CHILL at The Queen Mary, Better Than Ever Ice Adventure Park

This is a sponsored post, thank you for supporting our family.

Better Than Ever!

CHILL has always been a fascinating place to visit for winter and the holidays in Los Angeles.  The iconic, lifesized Ice Sculptors and slides were unlike anything that we’d seen before.  If you missed that era of CHILL at The Queen Mary, don’t worry.  They definitely stepped things up with their latest holiday celebration with the addition of CHILL, Ice Adventure Park.  The very first of it’s kind!  CHILL is exclusively at The Queen Mary December13-January 7, 2018.

Experience International Fun

This is an event that the entire family can enjoy.  Come with an open mind and taste dishes from around the world along with hand-crafted cocktails, authentic savory bites, and the sweetest of treats.  There is so much to do.  International experiences may land you in Holland and delving into doughnuts and pancakes, Switzerland and have yummy Fondue and warm up with a cup of hot chocolate the Swiss way or in Germany and nosh on a gourmet pretzel and freshly roasted nuts.  The America’s provides a Candy Bar and Santa’s workshop and zip lining!

CHILL pricing starts at $29.00 for adults (ages 9+) and $19.00 for kids. VIP Ultimate Expedition tickets are also available starting at $79.00 for adults (ages 9+) and $69.00 for kids. CHILL will run Dec. 13, 2017 – Jan. 7, 2018, excluding Dec. 31, 2017. I’ve provided some insight into our experience there.  It was a good learning opportunity as well exciting.  I hope you’ll make time and take the family out and CHILL.  From our Family to Yours, Happy Holidays and Healthy & Happy 2018!

Zip Line over CHILL and view it all from the top!  My oldest son and husband braved the cold and two-story hike and took flight.  It was both of their first times.  There are many activities that require skating, sliding and bumping and having the boys with us I knew this would be our path.  We made an art and craft, but they wanted physical activity.  These are not too far apart so we went from ice skating, that leads you through various paths, to the lit up ice shuffleboard, which brought out the competitive streak in us all.  Not far away were ice bumper cars being spinning and being driven into each other and strangers.  If all that was not enough, they lit up the sky with a firework show and Christmas lighting that completely emersed you into JOY!

A Stop in China

This was one of our favorite stops.  We rode ice cycles with a panda, had milk tea, watched Chinese acrobats perform and made our very own Christmas wish lanterns.

As you stroll down Lantern Lane for an Eastern ice cream treat be sure to visit Bamboo Forest for China’s Zen Teahouse where we were welcomed by Tea Hostess for a traditional Chinese tea service.  The Dim Sum Delight with China’s traditional winter feast of dumplings, provided by the LA-based Bling Bling Dumpling were so yummy and super popular.

The Views Are Incredible

There are many opportunities to get unique shots.  You can really have fun with your surroundings this way and take home those memories at not cost.  Of course, you can’t stay behind the camera the whole time  but be open if you see it
