Chrysler Pacifica Reception at LA Auto Show
Chrysler hosted an intimate reception for the Chrysler Pacifica at the 2017 LA Auto Show with guest appearances by television personality Vanessa Lachey, “Speechless” actor Micah Fowler, and Top Chef Junior contestants Maxine and Rahanna. Vanessa, a mother of three, spoke excitedly about the Chrysler Pacifica while she greeted us and other guests.
At the LA Auto Show booth for Chrysler, contestants from Top Chef Jr were serving yummy treats like coconut shrimp and burger sliders to all attending guest. (There was a table of cookies that appeared and disappeared as quickly as they were set out!)
The Chrysler Pacifica was on display for all to see. While we didn’t take it for a spin, we definitely sat inside and used our imaginations of what the ride would be like. My sons enjoyed the room and were amazed by all the features, like the electric doors and televisions with remote controls. They told me they could have their own row if this were our car. For me, the built-in vacuum (because you’d be suprised at what your car can look like after school and sports runs) and good gas mileage (you cannot beat 84 MPG) had me sold. At the rate that they’re growing, we may soon need the sleek and sporty look of the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica.
The Los Angeles Auto Show is at The Los Angeles Convention Center through December 1-10.
1201 S. Figueroa St in Downtown Los Angeles TICKETS
The Pacifica Hybrid takes this revolutionary vehicle a step further with its class-exclusive, innovative hybrid powertrain. It’s the first electrified vehicle in the minivan segment and achieves 84 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) in electric-only mode and 33 miles of all-electric range. The Pacifica Hybrid has all the same great features available in the gas model along with the Uconnect Theater rear seat entertainment system.
Top Chef Jr is the younger sibling to Top Chef and came about after so many kids were inspired to get in the kitchen. Bravotv set out to find their first contestants for Top Chef Jr. They went through the best of the best. Finalists were chosen out of 217 applicants (ages nine through 14) and 50 in-home auditions. Then it was time for the competition to began. Supringsly these kitchen savvy kids performed like trained adult professionals.
I caught up with Chef Rahanna’s mom and she shared that her daughter began asking a lot of questions about cooking after she helped her one day. She wanted to experiment more and soon it became regular for her to be in the kitchen cooking. Mexican dishes are a favorite. Top Chef Jr. Fridays at 8 p.m. on Universal Kids.
He caught them off guard, he just wanted to say HI!
If you’ve got a young chef, please see the info below and good luck!
