Nickelodeon and Paramount’s Dora and the Lost City of Gold was a stunning success to both the box office, and movie critics alike. Of course, the movie stars a teenage Dora who leaves her life in the jungle with her parents, who are zoologists and archeologists to go to highschool with her cousin Diego. Although they used to be best friends, Diego has adapted to the modern city life. After her short start at highschool, her and a group of unexpected piers are thrown into an adventure to find the lost city of gold, and friend of Dora’s parents joins them. They race an unexpected traitor and his (or her) team to find the lost city of gold. Overall, I would give this movie and 8/10 because its funny, has relatable jokes, has a well-rounded story, and presents exciting adventures that kept me on the edge of my seat. Although its out of theatres, you can watch it on dvd from Amazon or buy it from trusted sellers.
DORA AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD also stars Eugenio Derbez, Michael Peña, Eva Longoria, and Danny Trejo.
