Divided by Loss. United by Faith.
A Question of Faith. In this multicultural faith-based film, trials and tribulations plaque all. Three families find themselves at a crossroads, questioning their faith and the higher power that guides their lives. As each family member deals with their issues, their worlds start to intertwine. This leads to a chain of events which unknowingly brings the three families closer and closer together.
The title speaks to everyone, regardless of your race, religion, educational level or socioeconomic status, at some point you’ve questioned your faith. The focus is life, the real nitty gritty of life like tragedies that are some of our worst nightmares. I won’t spoil it, but the families in the film experience life-changing scenarios, that highlight and remind us that we have more in common than we realize. A Question of Faith had me on an emotional roller coaster, eventually crying in the end because of the loss suffered and how it brought together races that constantly experience difficult times understanding one another in our communities today.
I caught up with some of the cast and producer on the red carpet. Read on for their remarks.
Kim Fields, pictured above, stated that all of her projects leading up to Mrs. Theresa Newman in, A Question of Fatih, has allowed her to grow in order to breathe life into this character and all that she faces. As a woman and my faith, every triumph and challenge has prepared her for what her character goes through in the film.

Richard T. Jones is a pastor, husband, and father. He shared that he wants family men to take away from A Question of Faith the fact that it is so important to spend time with your kids and listen to your family and to trust God’s process. Jones also added that he wants men to understand that the relationships that God puts in our lives are the most important and to take the time and account for those moments as precious.

A Question of Faith made history with Angela White being the first African American woman to produce a faith-based full-length feature film! Congratulations!

Amber Nelon Thompson enjoyed filming and also singing in her first major role. She said it was a dream come true that she didn’t even know she had. Her amazing vocals are heard throughout the film and can be found on the film’s soundtrack.

Karen Valero on why she was interested in the role of Maria, a youthful and carefree daughter said that she’s never read for the role of a teenager and also the fact that it aggressively confronts texting and driving and going to jail through the eyes of a teen.

Renee O’Connor stars as wife and mother in the emotional drama A Question of Faith. She commented that she waits a long time for the right script. O’Connor knew this was the right role because she is looking for roles that aren’t going to comprise her as a person, and looking for things that have value and a message with a higher purpose.

November 15, 2017Without question this is one of the most inspiring movies ever made. It shares the basic tenet of forgiveness without being preachy. It’s cross-generational story line is refreshing and is a must see, particularly for teens. I would HIGHLY recommend. Remember, there are many in Hollywood who want to label all Christians as extremist, forgetting that Christ was an extremist for showing love.
