Jurassic World – The Ride
Jurassic World—The Ride has made it’s debut with an original storyline that takes place within the theme park as shown in Universal Studios, blockbuster film, JURASSIC WORLD.
The new and improved thrill ride added several iconic dinosaurs from the movie, including the colossal Indominus rex and the magnificent aquatic Mosasaurus mesmerizing onlookers in her natural habitat from behind a three million gallon glass encased Aquarium Observatory tank. And it’s the best part of the addition in our opinion. You’ll have to watch our video for more.
Jurassic World—The Ride gave us a dramatically enhanced experience. You can see the fusion of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World. Also, there is a fresh look for the new entry with stonework landscaping and a revamp of the iconic JURASSIC WORLD gates. You’ll enter through illuminated billowing flames. It’s safe though.
Along the way, we saw interactive queue-line videos featuring facts and information about the dinosaurs to be engaging and set the tone for the expedition ahead. There are tidbits of information along the way about prehistoric creatures that first roamed the earth more than 65 million years ago! I have to mention the drop! It is improved because it is unexpected!
Above is a video recap of our experience. Take a look!
More than a Ride
Jurassic World—The Ride is newly opened and it comes complete with an all new cafe and bar! We made a stop for lunch after the ride at the Jurassic Café. The cafe offered a variety of foods, holding true to the island feel of Jurassic World with a tropical or Hawaiian theme.
We mixed up our food selection ordering one of each item from the kid’s menu. It was a good choice and we got a good thorough feel of the menu.
Isla Nu-Bar serves yummy island inspired drinks and you can pickup souvenirs at Jurassic Outfitters, and the Dino Play area provide downtime for your little one wanting an experience at their height. These new and updated options should help to complete your visit to Jurassic World.

No visit to Jurassic World is complete without a new Raptor Encounter with Blue including new Baby Raptor and for our visit. We had a Triceratops encounter! It’s amazing how they capture the overall look and size of this triceratops. Even the sounds it made and movements were all very believable. It’s hard to imagine an animal of this size once freely roaming the planet.
