Where’d You Go Bernadette is the way to Go Get Your Life

Have you ever been in a place where you didn’t know your next move and because you’ve always shown to know your next move, and am not doing so, those around you think that you are coming apart? Lot’s of whispers about how you should handle your life are being discussed and suddenly, you are jumping out of the bathroom window. That was the moment, the moment you decided to go get your life!

Cate Blanchette is Bernadette Fox, a loving mom who becomes compelled to reconnect with her creative passions after years of sacrificing herself for her family. Even though this is a fairly common scenario for mom’s, it’s Bernadette’s spontaneous leap of faith that’s life-altering and game-changing.

I’ve flown alone dozens of times, but never anywhere as exotic and mysterious as the Antarctic and I never flew as a complete soloist, there was always someone on the other end waiting to meet me. Mrs. Fox pushed past all this after she walked away from her architecture career with legend status and without a single trace. Fast forward to having a high school senior for a daughter, Bee played by Kristen Wiig, and life has gotten away from you. She had no idea what drove her anymore. Not to mention her having an overzealous husband Elgie, portrayed by Billy Crudup, who thought an intervention would help her get her groove back.

There’s always a series of events that lead us to change, Berndatette’s range from the huge mistake of removing brambles on her property to her trusting a virtual assistant turned Russian crime syndicate with all of her family’s confidential information to a full-on intervention that leads to her leap of faith. This is enough to make any gal’s life change as she knows it. Her strong bond with her daughter pays off, as she never gives up on her mom and brings her dad on the quest to find their beloved Bernadette in Antarctica and offer her full and complete support.

Her spontaneity jump-starts her life and leads to her triumphant rediscovery and I was so thrilled to be along for the ride to find out Where’d You Go, Bernadette.
